Crick(no Watson)

Born in northern Ontario, Canada. Learned french before english. Always loved the night sky but as a child only had a few cheap Sears refractors that fell appart and had to be returned after a little use. Satisfied my cravings with binos, naked eyes and any scope I could look through or borrow at star parties and the Calgary branch of the Royal Canadian Astronomical Society. Now I live in Northern British Columbia. My two kids are a girl, 22 and a nurse like myself and her mother and a boy 19 who wants to be an xray tech. Finally I can afford to indulge myself and am building an 8 inch dob. Also have bought a 12 inch mirror that I hope to make into a portable truss tube dob than breaks down enough to be airline carry on size. Life is good and getting better...
