I am 41 and live in Western upstate NY where dark skies sit above my farm. Although not quite dark to the SE where the nearest small town is.
I am from England and have always looked up and wondered....however my knowledge to this date has always been very basic. I started with a Meade ETX 125 a couple of years ago and got hooked on photographing the moon and have done some fabulous (I thought so anyways) shots which I have used in classes as I volunteer teach locally.
I am on a local Nature Center Board and we are starting a small astronomy club and class....my imaging setup is the Orion Better Imaging bundle which I love!!.
Right now it is just viewing and solar photo's.....Deep Space objects..and I know it's an education in itself....are my next target.
I need lots of help!! :)
