NGC 4945 - CDK24

NGC 4945 (ESO 219-24, PGC 45279 and many others) is a seyfert 2 galaxy located approximately 11.3 million light-years away in Centaurus.

Luminance – 6x300s and 10x600s – 130 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 6x300s and 10x600s – 130 minutes each – binned 1x1

520 minutes total exposure – 8 hours 40 minutes

Imaged over thirteen nights in 2021 and 2022 at the El Sauce Observatory (Rio Hurtado, Chile) with a FLI PL 9000 on a PlaneWave CDK24 at f/6.5 3974 mm.
