Barnard 228

Barnard 228 is a large dark nebula that is part of the Lupus 1 Cloud. More information about these clouds can be found here - The Lupus clouds.

Luminance – 17x300s – 85 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 17:23:17x300s – 85:115:85 minutes each – binned 1x1

370 minutes total exposure – 6 hours 10 minutes

Imaged May 1st, 2nd, 7th and 8th, 2022 at the Heaven’s Mirror Observatory (Australia) with a FLI PL16083 on a Takahashi FSQ-106ED at f/3.6 382 mm.
