NGC 7048

NGC 7048 (PN G088.7-01.6 and others) is a large planetary nebula located approximately 5261 light-years away in Cygnus.

Majaess 211 is a small open cluster located in the top right quadrant. This one contains a small reflection nebula cataloged as GN 21.11.4.

Luminance – 24x600s – 240 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2

360 minutes total exposure – 6 hours

Imaged September 4th, 20th, 22nd and 26th, 2019 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
