Sharpless 2-170

Sharpless 170 (LBN 577, possibly DG 192 and others) is an emission nebula located approximately 7,500 light-years away in Cassiopeia. The cluster of stars is designated as Stock 18.

Ha – 24x1800s – 720 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2

840 minutes total exposure – 14 hours

Imaged September 6th, 9th, 10th and 17th, 2017 at Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
