Sharpless 2-189

Sharpless 189 (Abell 3, PK 131+02 1, G131.5+02.6 and others) is a planetary nebula located approximately 6,500 light-years away in Cassiopeia.

Ha – 24x1800s – 720 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2

840 minutes total exposure – 14 hours

Imaged over nine nights in 2017 and 2018 at Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
