Arp 268 (UGC 4305, Holmberg II and others) is a Magellan type irregular galaxy located approximately 10.5 million light-years away in Ursa Major. Arp classifies this one in the “Galaxies (not classifiable as S or E) – irregular clumps” group. It is a member of the M81 group of galaxies.
The ring-like galaxy above and to the left is PGC 2738730. The interacting pair to the left are PGC 86836 and 2738669. These three would make for a good target for a much larger telescope.

RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2
370 minutes total exposure – 6 hours 10 minutes
Imaged October 27th, 28th, 29th and November 22nd, 2017 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
