LBN 1054

Lynds Bright Nebula 1054 (also RCW 14) is a very faint nebula located in Canis Major.

NGC 2367 is a small open cluster just above center and to the left (East).

Haffner 5 is the small open cluster barely in the image at the bottom right.

Luminance – 18x600s – 180 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2

300 minutes total exposure – 5 hours

Imaged October 21st, 22nd and 23rd, 2017 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG ST-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT90EDT at f/6.7 603mm.
