NGC 4725 (UGC 7989 and others) at the center of the image is a Seyfert 2 spiral located approximately 41 million light-years away in Coma Berenices.

NGC 4712 (UGC 7977 and others) is the spiral to the right (west) of NGC 4725. It is located approximately 196 million light-years away.

NGC 4747 is the odd galaxy with the tidal tail to the left (east) of NGC 4725. Several sources suggest that it is interacting with NGC 4725 but distance estimates show it approximately 79 million light-years way.
