NGC 1365 (PGC 13179) is a barred spiral galaxy located approximately 56 million light-years away in Fornax. While fairly bright at 10.3 magnitude, being at -36 degrees declination, it is very low from the Northern Hemisphere. This field also contains numerous other galaxies and 73 quasars according to Simbad. See the annotated image for more information.
