Here is a beautiful planetary nebula cataloged as NGC 1535, it is found in the constellation Eridanus and is about magnitude 10.5. Distances vary to this object and range from 5500 to 7500 light-years. Even a 15-second exposure at ISO 5000 reveals a lot from this object. I particularly like the double ring/shell.
Tech Specs: This image is composed of 44 x 15 second images at ISO 5,000 with 5 x 15 second darks and 5 x 1/4000 second bias frames using a Meade LX90 12” telescope and Canon 6D camera mounted on a Celestron CGEM-DX mount. Imaging was done on December 27, 2016 from Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
