The Orion Nebula (M42) in Hubble palette

This image was captured in Ha II, O III and S ii in 35 frames totaling 107 minutes integration time. Image scale is 1.43 arc seconds per pixel. Stacking and pre-processing with 10 three minute darks and 12 twenty second flats was done in Nebulosity 4.0. Stacked images were stretched in FITS Liberator 5.58. Color channels were assigned, combined and final processed in Photoshop Elements 12.0 Equipment included Celestron C 9.25 SCT with .63 focal reducer / field flattener on a Celestron CGEM mount. Narrow band filters used were 36 mm Astronomik units mounted in a Starlight Express USB 7 position filter wheel. Imaging was done with an SBIG STF-8300M monochrome CCD camera, and guiding was provided by SBIG ST-i planet cam with 100mm CCTV lens kit.
