Moon/Neptune conjunction Dec 6, 2016

Neptune passed behind the center part of a crescent Moon from 1730-1847 hrs AST, from our location in South western New Brunswick, Canada. This image was taken just before it disappeared behind the darkened part of lunar disk.

Canon Rebel Xsi attached to an 80 ed/apo f/6.25 at prime focus. Single shot, ISO 400, 1 second.
