The Flaming Star Nebula (IC405)

Surrounding the star AE Aurigae located near the center of this image, in the constellation of Auriga, is the emission/reflection nebula known as the Flaming Star Nebula or IC405.

This is a 6 hour narrowband image taken with a TeleVue NP127is telescope and a QSI583wsg camera.

I took the image from Calgary Alberta.
