Summer solstice Full Moon 2016

Tonights FULL MOON!!! well... almost. About 6 hours short of being a full moon. If you look closely at the left limb of the moon it's not totally illuminated, 99.8%.

Shot with Sony’s A7rii mirrorless full frame camera. Using Celestron’s EdgeHD 11 inch Schmidt–Cassegrain Telescope.

The full moon is so big that it doesn’t fit on the camera’s sensor. I have to merge two photos together.
