Old buddies Dennis di Cicco and Kelly Beatty of Sky & Telescope magazine. Dennis was the first astronomical editor I met, when I was 14, at Apollo Rendezvous in Dayton, Ohio. He rode up on a motorcycle and that got me thinking that I wanted to be an astronomical editor. And the first year I arrived at Astronomy, when I was 21, I flew to Boston to attend Stellafane only to discover I couldn’t legally rent a car at the airport. Although I was working for the competition, Kelly picked me up and gave me a ride to Stellafane. Great people, Dennis and Kelly. NEAF, Suffern, New York, April 10, 2016.
