NGC 4565 (the Needle Galaxy, UGC 7772, PGC 42038 and Caldwell 38) is an edge-on spiral located 30-50 million light-years away in Coma Berenices. Research has determined that it is much brighter and the Andromeda Galaxy (M31). It would be an amazing site if viewed face-on.
The galaxy at the bottom right is magnitude 13.5 NGC 4562 (also NGC 4565A).

360 minutes total exposure – 6 hours
