The Moon, Venus, Jupiter and Mars lie close together in a line on the Ecliptic, a few days after the rare close conjunction (triad) of these three planets in late October, 2015. Although the Moon's orbit crosses the Ecliptic twice a month (at the nodes), a simultaneous occurrence with this triad is rare.
