NGC 185 (Caldwell 18) on the left is a dwarf spheroidal galaxy around 2 million light-years away. NGC 147 (Caldwell 17) on the right is also a dwarf spheroidal galaxy around 2.6 million light-years away. Both galaxies are located in Cassiopeia, members of the Local Group and companions of M31.
