The Medusa Nebula (Abell 21) in narrowband

This is a picture of Abell 21, also known as the Medusa Nebula. It was taken with narrowband filters, Ha, SII, OIII. This is a planetary nebula about 1,500 light years away in the constellation Gemini.

November 28 - December 28, 2013
Location: Rancho Hidalgo, NM
Telescope: TEC-140 (F7)
Camera: SBIG ST-8300M
Mount: AP900 GTO
HA: 18x30 minutes (binned 1x1)
SII: 24x30 minutes (binned 1x1)
OIII: 24x30 minutes (binned 1x1)
