Treasures of the collection of Owen Gingerich: This is one of three known copies (and the only known copy with the folded diagram) of A Prognostication Euerlasting of Right Good Effect, Fruitfully Augmented by the Auctor, Contayning Plaine, Brief, Pleasaunt, Chosen Rules to Iudge the Weather by the Sunne, Moone, Starres, Cometes, Rainebow . . . by Leonard Digges, published in London in 1592; this is the first work with a diagram showing the sphere of stars distinctly outside the spheres of planets, from the collection of Owen Gingerich, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, photographed September 20, 2013.
