Taken by Michael F. Borman on August 30, 2013 with a Televue 102iis refractor, Coronado SM90 h-alpha filter with BF30, and Point Grey Research Grasshopper 3 camera. Processed in Registax (stacking and wavelet sharpening), and Photoshop CS4 (addition of false color). Composite of two images, one with exposure set for showing detail on the disk, and the other with the exposure set to show the prominences. Taken from my home in Evansville, Indiana, USA. More images on my website at www.mborman.org .
