This is my first post to Astronomy Magazine forums.  Around midnight on August 11th, I was lucky enough to catch a moderately bright Perseid meteor slicing across the sky near the Milky Way.  Big Smile  A Pentax K5 was used with a Pentax 16-50 zoom at 16mm f2.8. The Astrotrac guided 36 second exposure was captured at 1600 ISO.
