Messier 92 and nearby galaxies

Messier 92 is the second brightest globular in Hercules after Messier 13.

The photo also shows several galaxies near the cluster.

 

Scope: Orion 8 inch f3.9 astrograph

Mount: Orion Atlas EQ-G

Camera: Nikon D3000, ISO 1600, raw format.

Exposure: 5/04/2013  240 sec x 37 frames.

Guiding: PHD guiding using an Orion short tube 80 and SSAG.

Software: Deep Sky Stacker and Photoshop CS3 with Carboni Astro tools.
