This is an assembly of several sketches of comet PanSTARRS C/2011 L4, to create a color drawing. We used a pair of 4" (100mm x 25) binoculars. The dust tail had a surprisingly reddish hue, which contrasted with the white coma/core. The comet was only visible for about 1/2 an hour.
