Here's an afocal shot of Mercury that I took on the evening of 2/12/2013 using the Astronomical Society of Harrisburg's 17" f/15 classical Cassegrain and a 40mm University Optics MK-70 eyepiece. Mercury was very close to the horizon at the time and was undergoing rapid color changes due to atmospheric prismatic dispersion.
