Around 8:30 PM on December 13, 2012 I made this image of a bright Geminid Meteor!

I used a Cannon 60Da camera with a 35 mm Carl Zeiss lens @ f2.0, ISO was 640 and a 107 second exposure. The meteor along with the Planet, Jupiter is in Taurus and it made quite an impression on me as I saw it strike the atmosphere with my own eyes. I knew I had it!

The photo was made in Jadwin, Missouri
