This photo of the "red" planet was taken on March 22, 2012 at 23:27. I used my blackberry camera with an Orion 8" Dobsonian reflector with a 10mm eyepiece. While the picture quality isn't the greatest, the fact that this much can be seen from within the city of Washington DC is quite amazing.
