Annular solar eclipse, May 20, 2012, taken from Vallejo, California.  At this latitude, the moon passed a little high in front of the Sun.  At maximum, only the the bottom crescent of the Sun was visible, giving us a beautiful "Cheshire Cat smile".  William Optics 90mm Megrez , Canon XTi.  1/160th second exposure at ISO100.
