Much less favorable than in the Southern hemisphere, the multiple
planetary conjunction of 11 May 2011 was photographed despite some
cloudiness. The bright pair of Venus and Jupiter was less than 1°apart
and was dominant, while Mercury and Mars were not visible to the naked
eye. Mars was the faintest and lowest of them all and barely
photographed.
