Montreal, Canada, March, 27th, 2011, 9:49 GMT. - 5°C.

My first attempt at sun observation. Certainly not the best shot I can get, but at least I could map this sunspot group using the website http://www.spaceweather.com/.

  • 130mm newtonian reflector;
  • Celestron NexImage planetary webcam;
  • Baader solar film mounted on a homemade carboard frame;
  • stack of 219 frames with Registax 5.0;
  • Photoshop CS3 for enhancement.
