This was my first night out to a new site with the Midlands Astronomy Club of Columbia, SC. It was an especially clear night for July. This shot is just a 10 second exposure of The Milky Way done with my Canon 1000D. My computerized mount was down so I couldn't get multiple frames and stack but it's not bad for what it is.
