I used a 40mm f/10 Coronado PST, an 8-24mm Tele Vue zoom eyepiece, and a Canon PowerShot SD980 IS camera on 2010/3/18 to capture afocally this large prominence on the Sun's leading limb.  A number of filaments and a bright flare region can also be seen.
