M33 - Spiral galaxy in Triangulum

Spiral galaxy M33 2.8 million light years distant in the constellation Triangulum, the third largest member of the Local Group of galaxies, January 10, 2010. Meade 16" RCX400 telescope at F 5.4, spectrum modified cooled Canon 40D, iso 1600, stack of six 8 minute frames, processed in Maxim DL, Photoshop and Noise Ninja. Multiple HII areas are visible.
