The Hercules Cluster (M13)

May 23, 2009, imaged from 10:00PM to 2:00AM; imaged from Scopehill Observatory located near Fort Scott, KS; Imaged with a Meade DSI IIIC camera on a Meade 80mm ED APO; autoguided with a Meade DSI Pro II on a Meade 12", F-8, RCX400: 5 minute subs x 30 for a total imaging time of 2.5 hours; saved as a full color TIFF, dark subtracted, aligned and combined in Aip4Win; loaded into PSCS2 where curves and levels were performed, color enhancement and Russell Crwoman's GradienTXterminator were used to post process it to the final image you see.
