This image of the landing site for Apollo 11, Mare Tranquillititas - Rukl map 35. Image taken on Saturday 30 May 09 at Martinez, GA with a Celestron CPC-1100, DMK-31 mono-usb camera with an Astronomik green filter, @f15. It's a stack of approx. 1100 frames in Registax 5.  The 40th Anniversity is coming up on July 20th....(1969).

The larger craters in the upper left are Ritter and Sabine. The < marking the approx. location is just below craters Armstrong, Collins and Aldrin the three Apollo Astronauts on this mission...Armstrong of course being the first man to walk on the moon....."One small step...."
