The Lunar X, 2008/10/6

Here's an afocal photograph of the October, 2008, apparition of the illumination effect known as the Lunar X, which is also known as the Purbach or Werner Cross.  It was taken from my front yard near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, using a 6" f/8 Orion XT6 Dob and a Sony DSC-S600 digital camera.
