This shot of the transit of Venus was taken on 2004/6/8 with a 102mm Takahashi FS-102 apochromatic refractor and a Pentax K1000 SLR using eyepiece projection with a 26mm Plössl. It was sharpened and processed to monochrome via Photoshop. The site was the roof of a casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
