Retired (disability) from Continuous Quality Improvement and Database Management. Started with a rickety old Sears newt back in the 70s, and have had an interest going back to a kid watching the original Apollo moon missions on TV. My goal has never been to acquire the biggest or most expensive gear possible. On the contrary, I get real satisfaction from using (and oftentimes making) the humblest looking devices one might imagine and then seeing just how far they can be pushed. My main reason for remaining so interested in this wonderful hobby is not only in the great and diverse people who share the same passion, but in gazing out among the heavens and seeing the Creator's fingerprints all over everything! :)
