Occultation of Antares - Day August 27, 2009

Here, in Juazeiro do Norte, Ceará , in Brazil the star Antares did not want to deprive us of your beauty and hide behind the Moon.

Decided to share your walk with the Moon for awhile to amaze us.

Mosaic composed of 7 images.

Date / Time: Thursday, August 27, 2009 / 23h20m to 23h22m (UT)

Equipment:

Newtonian reflector telescope of 275 mm aperture F / 6, alt-azimuth mount, without motor for tracking. Ocular 58 mm. Afocal method.
Panasonic Digital Camera Model DMC-LZ7 (no DSLR) - 7.2 Mega Pixels .
Exposure Time: 1 / 60 s
ISO: 100
FNumber: 4.40
