This prime focus image of the colorful binary star Beta Cygni, better known as Albireo, was captured on 2009/6/7 using the Astronomical Society of Harrisburg's 17" f/15 classical Cassegrain and my Canon EOS Digital Rebel DSLR camera.  Albireo lies at a distance of approximately 380 light years and may or may not be a true binary system.  The A component is magnitude 3.1 and the B component is magnitude 5.1.  Their separation is 35".  The position angle is 54 degrees. North is up in the image.
