NGC 4298 + NGC 4302

Image taken over several nights starting at 10:30 on 4/19/07 in Naples, Florida. Optical Guidance Systems 12 1/2" telescope at F/6, and ST10XE camera. LRGB image. Exposures: L 44/7min, RGB 10/5min each, binned 2x2. Scaled on MaximDL at R 1.0, G 1.0 and B 1.6. (Full gallery of images can be seen at: tedwolfe.com)

    you caught the full essence of the science and beauty of what space  should be to all who behold it if only our eyes could see the colors of technoligy we would  have more humans in feilds and in space instead of on the couch
