Been into astronomy since age 12, when I got my first scope (50mm department store refractor). 15 years latter, my next scope was a 4" reflector and several years latter my last purchase was a Meade DS-10 (10" f4.5 newtonian). I also incorporate 10x50 and 11x70 binoculars in my observations, which are exclusively visual. I was born and grew up in MA and moved to north central New Mexico in 2007 and have been enjoying the clear, dark skies here ever since.
