About John O'Donnell

With over a year in this hobby I still consider myself an infant at 55 in my knowledge of the universe. Expanding my knowledge is the key to having fun while observing. I have learned there is just too much to try to digest in cosmology, astronomy and astro-physics. So at my age the main goal is to learn what will help me in my visual observations. I will leave the rest to the so called experts in their fields. I want to keep this hobby simple and enjoyable. I did consider the astro-photography side of the hobby but have since changed my thought process to the simpler, visual endeavors. Time may lead me into other avenues but I am not ready to make this any more complicated by throwing in computers and cameras at my observing site.
