I stumbled into astronomy after mountain hiking in CO, summer 2008. I wanted to learn to navigate the wilderness by using the stars and that was that! I started with a pair of Nikon 10x50 binocs and then added a telescope shortly thereafter. My husband and I enjoy camping, mountain hiking, kayaking and golf. I love the night skies for the serenity and beauty they afford, and the sense of wonderment it always provides me about our awesome universe and the One who made it.
