Star hopping with my new Celestron Go To Scope

I recently purchased a Celestron 102 slt 4 inch refractor. My skies leave a lot to be disired because of the sky glow from local businesses. With few stars visible, except the brightest ones, the go to feature is coming in pretty handy.

A few nights ago the clouds parted and I pushed  go to open cluster ngc 6633. From there I star hopped to ic 4756 and the nice double 2375.Not everything is listed in my 4,000 item computer, so I have to star hop from the nearest object I am able to put into the computer.Star hopping with a Go To Scope . What will they think of next.

Looks like you had a good night even with LP, all I'm getting is a nice covering of clouds here. Can't wait for the clouds to part to get some scope time in with my new/used refractor

I have enjoyed my new telescope because I am able to find my objects I was previously unable to locate. My star gazing has gone from 15 minutes to 2-3 hours. Im losing sleep, but since Im retired, I cant complain.Cant wait for the next clear night.
