    Inbox issues?

Anyone else having issues with their inbox? When trying to access my inbox, I get a message that

"There are either no posts or due to a filter there are no posts to display."

     Thanks for any feedback.

Yeah, I've got to it, too. We'll try to figure it out.

Thanks Karri. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something on my end.

Apparently it has deleted any posts and thread discussions we had active. I can send PM's now, question is can you access to read it.

My inbox is malfunctioning now as well.  I can only access the last two threads.  Attempting to go to a second page tosses me off the site.

I read a PM from Kevin just yesterday but it is gone now.

    Hope this is fixed soon.

    Re: Inbox issues?

It seems to be working at present, but anything you had in there prior to yesterday is gone. I lost a few thread discussions, and I know a couple others who had some information they were saving in theirs that is now history.

If this was some sort of system cleansing they should have cleaned out a bunch of those unnecessary threads that have been locked throughout the forums and especially the General area.
If this wasn't done on purpose as part of the system maintenance, then it is just another of many bugs with the community server that won't be fixed anytime in the near future.

I do not know what to say.  I lost some really good information shared with quite a few friends in my PM folder.  I have saved some of it via my regular e-mail but besides the loss of data it leaves several people possibly hanging in mid-discussion.  If you were one of those please give me a new PM, but I imagine after all this time we both forgot what we were talking about.

I am not young enough to remember all this stuff anymore!

    Same here Leo.

I had some technical settings for my auto guider saved in there (in the rare event my settings got changed) that another member was kind enough to share with me. I stewed over losing that information for a couple of days, until I found it this morning in a document I had saved on my hard drive. I had forgotten that I saved it to the hard drive.

Like yourself, I also had some very good information from others saved there too. Maybe once they figure out what happened, all of our PM posts will return.  I know that's probably unlikely, but we can always hope.

    Re: Inbox issues?

I've never had many PM's. Only one or two in the entire time I've been a member.

However I remember a few months back my e-mail said I had a message from Tim.
The inbox link wasn't showing a '(1)'. None the less I went in and found an empty inbox. I know there was at least two topics there.

This was a month or two back?! Strange!

Well... mine aren't either. When I checked them this morning, I thought they had restored the old messages, because I had a page full. Once I clicked to go to the second page, I got the filter error message again. So my reply above was a false alarm.
