    help :o/

Ok so I'm very very new to this and my partner is actually the one that has got me in on this and I must say I am amazed. I am an extreme JJC(Johnny Just Come) so please excuse my short fallings..... What are the co-ordinates for the star "mira". Is it indeed one star or several?? I have tried to research online but I'm getting a lot of old information dating back to 2008. I thought this would be the best place to ask. All information is helpful, so please help me out if you can. Many Thanks Deborah x

    Re: help :o/

    Welcome!  Maybe I can help a little.  Mira is in the constellation Cetus/ R.A. 02 19.4/ Dec. -02 58/ Mag. 2.1.

Edit: A little more information that's a little dated but probably close.

Long period variable star; range 3.0 to 9.5; Period=332 days

220 light years; red giant; dia.=400; range in lum.=3 to 500

No companion(s) listed nor shown on my chart

    Cetus near Pisces

    Good Luck!

Thank you wowzers! That was fast! :o) So if I wanted to engrave this, I could engave " Cetus/ R.A. 02 19.4/ Dec. -02 58/ Mag. 2.1." Or is there a smaller version? Thank you so much. Deb x
