Final shot of Saturn (this season)

Last one this season. It's just not as awe inspiring with the rings at such a narrow angle.

    Seeing: 3/5

    10" reflector @ F/14.1

    Meade LPI

    Tri-Mag Barlow

    NorthStar EQ Platform (modified)

Best 30 images out of 2 minute track.

    Exposure 0.5 seconds per image.

    Tweaked through Registax 3.1.

For a final view, I like it. It will make me yearn for next spring.

Thanks for the view Joe. Now what are you going to do since you won't be shooting Saturn?

I'd bet that from that list of hobbies on your web site, you're never at a loss for finding something to bide your time.

Thanks Oliver. Glad you like it.

Kevin, I was hoping for imaging some globulars this weekend but tonight is overcast w/ chances of rain. Maybe tomorrow night?

Sunday it's off to the Reading Airport for their WW2 Weekend. Beautiful vintage warbirds will be out in full force. Hopefully I can get some decent pictures to finally replace my pics of Saturn from last month... So embarrassing when my pic of the week is up posted for a month...

And obviously fishing is ruined with this weather

Very nice view to finish the season. Looking forward to your globular clusters.
